Here in the unique setting of the Olde Tavern Motel & Inn, you will step back to the rustic days of yesteryear when stage coaches jostled along dirt roads carrying illustrious passengers such as Daniel Webster and Henry David Thoreau. They stopped here at what was then Higgins Tavern - to fill their mugs and take a night's lodging on olde Cape Cod.
Today, we are getting exceedingly popular, with every season due to our spotlessly clean, refreshed, and very spacious rooms. While our room types vary, in providing our guests with choices, they are all appointed with the most modern conveniences, such as wireless Internet, brand new Digital Cable with free HBO movie channels on our TV's, refrigerators, comfortable beds/furniture, full private bathrooms, telephones, air-conditioning, heat, and naturally much more.
Our location could not be better, the building sits down in a nice little valley, and far away from the road, which makes our place exceptionally quiet! So while we take much pride in perfect cleanliness and location, we also are complemented daily on our tranquility of our property. While located just a quarter mile from the downtown village, just a few minutes walk, you'll have the convenience of the close proximity to our downtown village. You will be thankful for this since it IS a luxury to remove yourself from the noise levels, and the general "buzz" that comes along with downtown traffic, as you return to our tranquil, quiet and very relaxing grounds!!!
Some of our popular rooms have decks, which are nice to relax on while enjoying our quiet mornings here, with our freshly baked muffins and coffee, or in the evening, a glass of wine. The decks overlook our nice backyard and secluded heated pool area! (deck rooms book first come first serve, so not always available, if not, not a big deal) The Old Tavern Motel & Inn is PERFECT for families, weddings, couples, family reunions, fishing, biking, any situation, and we can ensure satisfaction.
